UNIVERSITYOF EXETER- IVINGTON RESTAURANT & WESTPOINT ARENA - EVENT CATERING

As the official internal Westpoint caterer, the University of Exeter are committed to standards of excellence in all catering areas. The experienced team is lead by Catering and Events Manager, Wayne Chamberlain.

With the refurbishment of The Ivington Restaurant we have expanded the variety of food offered and improved the quality. Using the best of local ingredients, the menus on offer are fresh, colourful and full of flavour. There are both contemporary and traditional British and Continental dishes to choose from and the menus are changed regularly to suit the customer's needs and individual tastes.

As holders of Investors in People and Hospitality Assured the customer is uppermost in mind. Our team of staff are smart, professional and friendly.

The University's aim is to provide the complete catering solution. On a daily basis, experience freshly brewed quality coffees, speciality coffees, blended teas and cold drinks. Leading you through our newly refurbished servery we offer freshly baked filled baguettes and sandwiches, pizzas, panninis, an innovative and traditional hot selection, as well as jacket potatoes and salads.

Event organisers can choose from our extensive range of menus, for special occasions, celebrations, parties and events. Each Westpoint event is unique and your catering needs are managed from start to finish by Wayne Chamberlain. Our professionalism enables us to cater within the hall to meet the need of the customer. This may range from a mobile bar, serving draught and bottled beverages, to refreshment areas and bespoke catering unit set ups

MARK COCKER - WESTPOINT FOOD COURT - MOBILE CATERING

Many events at Westpoint require Mobile Catering units. This area of the catering is run by Mark Cocker. He has nearly thirty years of experience on the show circuit and operates three units with his family. He is a member of Moca and the Showman's Guild of Gt. Britain. He attends many local sports venues, agricultural shows and air days etc.

Mark has extensive knowledge of all types of catering units, equipment and customer needs. Attention to detail is apparent on viewing the units available which include toasted sandwiches, do-nuts, multi-purpose and confectionery to mention a few.

There are also modern stainless steel tables and chairs with canvas sunshades available to make the food court area a really pleasant place to enjoy refreshments.

A wide range of units can be supplied to suit all types of event and Mark will be on hand to ensure the smooth running of the units. The standard of the units at Westpoint is extremely high and they have clean and well motivated staff who are friendly and efficient.
