Exeter Cathedral is an imposing structure of beauty and antiquity in the heart of the city with its stunning architecture inside and out.  In the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral Close, you will find historic pubs and restaurants serving delicious local food and drink, or for an excellent mix of restaurants serving cuisine to suit all tastes, head for Exeter’s side streets such as the cobbled Gandy Street, or the European piazza style Bedford Square.  With food halls serving the best and freshest of seasonal local produce and weekly farmers markets, you will be spoilt for choice in Exeter.
